Your screenshot shows your troops at the War Council.

Maybe because Plarium thinks that an "Acropolis" is supposed to be like Cheyenne Mountain.. who knows..

Hi! Units in your Acropolis cannot be attacked. However, if you're sure that they were hidden there, but got attacked, please contact our Support Team and give them all necessary information regarding this case. They will investigate your issue and find out what happened to your Units.

Are you sure that those units weren't routed from somewhere else? A capital (even though are off units, some people tend to do that^^) Or are the ones that were finished training?It's impossible somebody to attack your units in the acropolis!

i lost 44 carthapact and 844 macadian cavalry in an attack at my base my troops where all in my acropolis i,d like to know why that happened and i have hopolite that died to and they are supposed to go directlly in my acropolis becouse of my level of acropolis

So what is your level (just checking) ?

Well you probably forgot those troops in your city.. never happened to me that troops in acro dies..

so only explanation is that you forgot them in your city.. 

When you hit Pantheon, troops are comming back in your acropolis in every other case you need to use Autohider.

I'd have to agree with the above posters: I've never lost troops quartered in the Acropolis. Were you perhaps cutting it too close sending them there before an incoming raid or siege; the async nature of server commands in a game such as this, will always depend on connection speeds and reliability to ensure that your "orders" are carried out in a timely fashion, I have certainly lost the odd unit when the wifi on my commuter train goes belly-up in one of the tunnels. I've spoken to the train conductors about this but they just don't seem to care :-)).
