Archon, my advisors have spoken of a new mechanism, a kind of navigational tool that shows your true position without sun or stars.

They say we can build them using metal fused with lodestone… We don’t have it yet, but I know where we can get some. We’re told that the Persian smiths often smelt lodestone ore when fashioning links in their armor - that they bind tightly to themselves of their own accord.

We don’t know why, nor do we care – just bring them to me, Archon!
