It might not be a big deal .... but this is exactly why players get, shall we say, dispirited !!
If the WOF is going to be temporarily disabled, why would Plarium not say something up front ? The alternative is that perhaps Plarium did not anticipate having to disable the WOF ... which would be fine if shared with the players.
As per most of my posts ... my theme is that open, honest communication works wonders.
I agree 100%. Plarium never ever get's in front of communication and enjoys playing catch-up. It amazes me how backwards MMO's can operate and still have such a large cult following. You guy's run this business the exact opposite of how other businesses run and your model has been cast out of the corporate world decades ago. But you are still so busy LOLIt might not be a big deal .... but this is exactly why players get, shall we say, dispirited !!

Also gone are the one day specials (e.g. 75% discount on revive, 50% discount on units) and all sorts of other random specials that appear in the marketplace that get people to spend. Why would Plarium think it is financially sound idea to remove spending opportunities for nearly 3 weeks, AND not even announce it beforehand, nor give any indication whatsoever about when it will return, OR whether it will return.
The beta started long ago. So the comments below look like either some aborted plan, or just something to tell people to placate them for a little while.
What is the CURRENT story on this from Plarium?

Hey, everyone. The Wheel of Fortune is temporarily disabled as we begin final preparations for the new engine beta testing. Don't worry, it will not be gone forever.

You've been given an explanation as to why the Wheel has been disabled. There is not really anything else to add to it and whether you believe it or continue with the same line of complaints you have in more or less every post you make is up to you entirely.Have you ever took the time to consider that the complaining that shows up on this forum ( be it from me or anyone else ) could simply be because there are things to complain about ? Because you should care about what your customers/players are complaining about ? Feedback in general is mostly complains, as not very much people would come to spend time by telling you how happy you make them (i would throw a party if they are happy !).
Yet again like Alyona you seem to take the complains at a personal level .We know that there's nothing you can do about anything AT all regarding the game. My expectations would be from the higher chain of command (someone that literally has decision powers).
For me it's very clear, what-ever fault plarium ever does , a simple excuse and "we'll work on it" solves the day. Sure , go ahead take few months or why not years. Yes sarcastic but you know it's the truth. How do you think a loyal player feels when you announce to him features like UnitXP (and they are still not here after 1year) ?You can also very clearly see that there's a ton of hate towards the game imbalance that yet again you/plarium created because of the greedy scarcity tactics (that daily tailored purchase offers , forced down our minds to see every day because why not ? maybe the player is interested in the offer ... yeah right -> better said you are interested to force more sales). But yes i also agree , welcome to the world of corporations/consumerism (but still mate , a decent limit could be made, my personal belief is that you/plarium have crossed the greed line long ago). So with this game imbalance in mind , considering the missing Wheel of Fortune now (denying the small guys even more) , how should we feel ? loved ? cared ? keep waiting ?
One funny thing that i also found , on plarium's website , an article talking exactly about the greed and problems with all this microtransactions/scarcity tactics: https://plarium.com/en/mmo-games/truple-a-games-microtransactions-loot-boxes/
Quotes from the article:
1) The trouble with AAA games that include microtransactions is obvious: you purchase the game at a premium price, but then have to pay if you want to get ahead and keep up with the “big dogs”
2) Microtransactions can prevent some people from playing the game. If you don’t have dozens of hours to dedicate to a game, and can’t afford to pay to win and remain competitive, you’re stuck. You either don’t play it at all, or you play it and don’t ever get the full experience
3) The problem comes in when you’re playing with people who decided to spend the money for the in-game purchases, who are now at higher levels than you. Your gameplay experience immediately gets far worse than anyone who shelled out the cash.Nice things said ! Seems you/plarium did look/cared to comment about greed/microtrasanctions about different publishers , how about own yard ?
P.S. The scope of my complain and most probably from the rest of the topic contributors : Expedite the re-adding of Wheel Of Fortune ( you don't show us signs that it's "a matter of the utmost importance" . Because for small guys , i bet it is something very important !
[sarcasticjoke]P.S.2. I guess i should make a fun-club or something with guys like Tonoya , the complainers of the century ! :D [/sarcasticjoke]
Totally agree !!!... And those who complain are just a tiny part of the universe of complaints, because people want to play and not waste time writing !!!
Devs needed to disable the feature for the upcoming beta-test, unfortunately, it was needed.LOL .. don't think anybody thinks that ..the real reasons were another ..but why only users have to suffer ...if an problem it;s because of you guys ..compensate the users ...for having for so much time the WOF disabled ..and having to spend a lot more drachmas for some items that they should had if it was on
