Hello.  If he is a new player in your team, or he has a lot of unclaimed tournament rewards, he cannot get  the PVP points  for the tournament,  but the attacker can get  the PVP points. Plus, the one who has the reinforcements in another city, he cannot get the PVP in this category.  In this touranament, the attacker gets more points than the defenders, especialy if the defender has light and heavy infantry as defences.
