Who, What, When..

So it's 3 AM local you been building your army and an alliance attacks you..

What do you do.. What's your attack strategy? Are you eye for an eye?

Or are you more strategic, do you mark them for later and coordinate an attack?

I'm interested to here some attack strategies from other commanders. Share your knowledge! :)
