Why I am fazing out of the game
Already for a while I learned that the event checkpoints of the league of Asgard were beyond me. I just don't have the time to spend so much extra time to the game to complete the events. So I cheered the fact that Plarium was reassigning personal leagues. It would enable me to raise my level without ending up in the league of Asgard. Imagine my surprise after upgrading when I saw the checkpoints for 'fighting invaders' event in the new league of Odin. It looks like this league got the conditions of the previous league of Asgard, and league of Asgard got even worse. Given the fact that it's all about Rune Coins nowadays, that is a complete turnoff. If you want to be strong, you need town skins, but since those are drifting out of reach, there is no more point in playing.
And it gets worse. These changes also ruined my Northern Brotherhood membership. Since I completed previous checkpoints yesterday, I need to get five today and there is only 'fighting invaders' on, of which only the five highest checkpoints are not completed. That means I'm not going to be able to complete my daily quests because of these changes due to lack of time, which obviously is completely unfair. I honestly would suggest Plarium to compensate because there is no way I could have known these changes were coming nor what they would implement, in which case I would never have bought this membership.
Now I hear you say 'do it in one shot kills'. Fast and easy. Obviously the rewards for one shots are not worth the effort. It's basically just a waste of energy, especially if your enemy is already out of reach during cvc. Moreover, if I keep using one shots on ubers and L6s, how am I ever going to get my weapons upgraded with gems? It's already hard enough to get amber and beryl as it is. So no, one-shot kills are no solution. And weapon upgrades are just as important as town skins.
I was on the brink of spending my next 100USD on big rss sets, but since they only offer clan tasks, they are no solution, and no I can't buy everything. If that is what you expect, then this is no longer a free game with in-game purchases. Spending money as a support of such a game is fine. Spending money as a condition for so-called free game is very wrong. I'm fazing out.
