I have no issue with abnormal booting.

The idea is for you to offer players the opportunity, if they wish, to turn off the initial video clip.  The benefit, if there is any, is not so much to save the tedium of watching something which has been seen many times before, but rather to reduce demands on memory, processing and bandwidth both for the player's device and for your servers.

Every little helps, or so it is said.
