At this point we do not know.  We will just to have to let it roll and see where it goes.

If we win this KvK we get 200M from each resource. We cannot see what the Chief has and to this end do not know how much he needs to pay the levy this month or last month.

Our immediate problem is the stronghold resources getting looted.

The game certainly has its flaws.  I think one of us will need to step out side the clan to attack him and then come back in again to secure as much of our materials as possible.

Oh... man, it's so bad. Try to write a message to game support... maybe, they can help you.

The stronghold is level 2 with all buildings complete .. to walk away from that would be a nightmare.

His shield failed today and he was attacked inside 5 minutes. It was the middle of a CvC.

 We had 2 people that had left the clan that just sat there and hit him till he was emptied. 

We will battle on and hopefully further down the road he gets well enough to come back.

But really they need to put something in the game allowing elders to do something if the chief isn't active for a certain period of time.

I think that after 4 weeks of inactivity that the option is made for the highest Elder to take over the place of the Chief

As it was we raided our Chief after we won the 2nd CvC .  Collected 204M of each rss.

What we found interesting was that none of the rss in the stronghold vault awaiting transformation was affected. We lost nothing from the vault .

I do hope that Plarium see the good sense in activating a fail safe for missing Clan Chiefs.

i am the lone survivor in our clan, as an elder.  our chief went into the hospital and never came out.  this was over a year ago now, and the entire clan disbanded, except for me.  i have tried several times to get Plarium to assign me as chief so that i don't have to give up on our stronghold.

Maybe some day they will allow, in such a situation as this, to let a lone surviving elder to become chief.

After having been in two clans where the Chief went AWOL, we have set up a new clan chief with its own email address. Two elders have been given the login and password, in case the Chief becomes absent. HTH as a suggestion for the future.
