If you look closer Simple Diamond knife has white background and usual has a little more blue background

And about runic knifes: Usual has a brighter glow then Simple

They are not the same, but it is easy to confuse

Looks like you are right.

The difference was too subtle for me  to notice on my laptop, however it doesn't  seem to be in keeping with  the  usual,  black, silver,  green, blue,  purple, gold, theme, particularly in the case of the  diamond  knife , but perhaps not so much with  the  runic knife.

I thought problems were now dealt with via the forum, so I am not sure why you need a private message, nor where it should be sent .

The  Watch tower appears to say there is "X" at distance "Y". The Global map Castle cursor, would seem to give a slightly different distance.

In the specific case mentioned, the list of invaders that the Watchtower gave contained only Hounds, and Canis, whereas there were Guardsman  apparently  close enough to have been included.

I did take some photos , but presently do not know how to move them from my camera to the laptop, in order to attempt adding them.

I dont actualy now anything about watchtower bug, its seems to work for me, but about knifes:

You sent a screenshots with different knifes, look at it: 1 Simple Knife and 1 Usual Knife, they removes different gems and have different gold cost. Same with runic knifes

I've noticed discrepancies between the global map and the watchtower lists as well every now and again. It's one of those things that make me say, "oh well".

Well said MEE,  though I could have, and would have, if you hadn't responded  first, I need add no more on what I consider an irrelevant post  regarding the knife issue.

However MEE I am glad someone else thought the Watchtower and Global Map  Castle cursor showed discrepancies .

Interestingly, I think they( programmers) might already  have looked into this issue. Well done  to them if they have.

Earlier today the Global  Map Castle  Cursor appeared to be missing , at least I couldn't find it, though it is definitely there again now.

Why don't you just take a screenshot right from your laptop?

You probably use multiple accounts, try to clear your browser cache more often

On the first option suggested.

I do not know if the laptop has the take a screen shot facility, but wouldn't know how to find or use it,  had I  thought of it at the time.

On second option.

I would have to install it , 

learn how to operate it,and its something I wouldn't have much use for .
