If you visit the game daily, you will get a special reward with Gold and items. The reward consists of different items and their amount may change. You can receive the reward visiting the game for 30 days, and its value is being increased every day. You can view the reward by opening the Reward for loyalty section in the game Menu. Please note to prolong the chain of rewards for the next day, you need to claim the reward. If you skip even one day, you will break the chain, and for the next day there will be the reward for the first day of visiting available. 

If you received the rewards for all 30 days of visiting the game, the counter will start over.

This I understand is how it should work. However The reward system failed. logging in is not the issue.

As you know for us little guys these daily "Loyalty Rewards" can be a big help Completing 30 days gives access to extra builders and Prophets to help us grow.twice now the rewards have reset for no reason. Please explain why this has happened. Plarium systems are NOT perfect and the game has glitches. This is not an isolated occurrence I have noted this issue mentioned in the forum and been informed by other players in game that they have had the same issue.
