The events seem to be much more random now than of late.

Many people have work patterns that do not comply with the previous standard of Monday to Friday.

It amused me to think that work was a prior commitment to the game .

An interesting thought. I wouldn't mind this change but it wouldn't be a gamebreaker if it doesn't happen.

Another possibility is varying the start/finish times of global events. It is a great advantage to have your big players on in the first hour of the event and the last couple of hours of phases/events.

As Anyone says there is no "normal" work week any more and because this is a global game people are playing at all times of day.
