Every battle of clans, the score is decided by clans training trillions of points worth of t7. This is not fun or exciting. Maybe it's agood idea to use scoring like kingdoms battle every once in a while since training t7 nets way more points than killing them does.Yeah, CvC has turned into WvW (Wallet vs. Wallet.) We just go for checkpoints. If another clan has to resort to training massive amounts of troops (many of which they never use), we're not going to battle wallets with them.

Once your maxed out, training T7 is all you can do to score points if the enemy wont fight, and the rss you would have put into growing your town now goes into training, so its not always a big wallet game if you have a good supply of rss and boosts.
With the new Tower of Odin that gives you the opportunity to open your stronghold and have a 2 hour battle, even if the enemy doesn't attack Plarium troops will and you still score big points and plenty of soul shards.
