you can add your required amount of hero energy/sharman power by adding it in the hero/sharman tab. the only time the game wants to add the maximum energy is when you add it through the attack invader/ghost window

If you want to know how much hero energy and shaman power you have then:

Click on Items icon (chest) in bottom bar

Click on My Items tab

Click on Military tab and scroll down and you will find them there.
