does the outcome of these KVKs depend to much on how much players can spend or is that just me being a poor apponent ??? just asking

Exactly that, its just the same as the actual game, the more you spend the faster you will grow.
Though with spending more there is no guarantee of success,some have very deep pockets and no other life.
There is no winning its an illusion.

Are you sure they didn't get 9 Billion points for making lvl 6 troops? That would only be a few million troops that were made ... each lvl 6 troop gets you 2,500 points.

well, have made 8 billion yesterday with 2 research... without oil well :p
but i will not have be able to do it without the help of the several hyperfarm from our clans... they are lvl 30 hyperfarm and produce around 100 million of their speciality rss each 2 hours... these hyperfarm score only a few pts in clan and global event, other use the generated rss for do score and hyperfarm grab the reward for continue to grow...
from my personal experience, it is not hard to try t6 and do a lot of point but it cost a huge amount of silver... 2 way to have the needed silver : deep pocket and bank offert... or a actif clan who support you...
by the way, these hyperfarm are at least 2 year old... so it ask some work to build them...
if you are surprised with 9 billion pts, the problem can be elsewhere... like a bad matchmaking between clan or kingdom...
