never tried it but i would imagine you would loose everything inside it if you demolish it

No, there is no getting back resources sent to the stronghold at any point, ever, never ever.

We did it. It's done. And yes, you are all correct. There is no forgiveness or courtesy. All is lost.

I guess you did it because you didn't like your location ... we have our location a bit away from the forest and we like it like that.  Our most active people do not sit in the stronghold usually anyways and we mostly have our hyperfarms and less active people there.

Deconstructing was unfortunately the best way to go. I suppose I could have made a new account with a new clan and built a new stronghold but the truth is that it just wouldn't be worth it to keep the old one where it was. We were among the first 2 clans in our kingdom to build a Stronghold which means basically all our members were brand new to the game and much more willing to move in and contribute when we were close to the low level Invaders. Now that everyone is all growed up, we needed a change. ;) It was a minor pain-same day surgery with two weeks of rehab. Lol. I can sense your condolences, and I thank you for your sympathies. Luckily, we have nearly recovered all we lost and will never have to do it again.
