I had deleted the app a while ago because I can't zoom in or out either in town or map view.
I just downloaded it again for the rewards only to discover that I still can't zoom in the app.
Yep, they nuked this many moons ago.
They try to keep the same visible screen real estate no matter what monitor or device you're on. First came to note when people were using their 4K monitors, and things were either too big (FHD size), or too small (4k).
Their screwing around with it, fixing wheels that weren't broken, will be the cause of the chat bug. It came when the did another stupid surrounding this.
Same issue / idea as cut & paste. Pointlessly reinvention of standard behaviours people depend upon everywhere. [Intentionally broke, here.]
