Heads Up.

Calcite - Ranged Health -> Bloody Duke (got moved to, from Black Inquisitor)

Seems somewhere along the way the excellent https://cnt-forum.plarium.com/file.bmp?g=4a08d7cd-20b7-437e-8364-1e2bfd4bdc63 (2nd graphic / image this thread) updated Calcite from Black Inquisitor to Bloody Duke. Just a heads up.

If I find out that's incorrect (now), I'll edit / post again.

Note that https://throne.help/en/ lists Calcite as a jewel, but (now?) does not show where it comes from (any more?). Although associated jewels are shown under Assailants, Calcite is not shown under any Alpha. Not under Bloody Duke, nor under Black Inquisitor

What is the use or purpose of enhanced defense, attack, or health stones and runes? There are troop type specific stones and runes for each of these attributes,  so i don't know what the enhanced type stones are for. Txs!

Hello

A note on updating.

Tables and text in my posting have been updated.

  • Graphics and Text: Onxy has been moved out of production to the group Yield/March.
  • Text correction: Ammolite is now listed under "Health".
  • Footer (groups wording line) slightly adjusted

Enjoy the game and have fun,

Umbra

To your note about the Calcit...
The Plarium helps confirms:
Calcit is listed under Bloody Duke.

Agreed - Plarium has made corrections to their material.

Note: Calcit -> Calcite

I hope it is now more obvious that there is a significant difference between Onyx (for farming with troops) and the production stones (for city production), which is often overlooked.

Agreed. The Resource Yield bonuses start to matter significantly to try to contain (complete) yield time under x hours, and so fit within x hours of Safe Conduct(s).

There is a vast difference between 1:03 and 0:57 on a 1h Safe Conduct.

Oh yes, verry true! -

... And the production juwels are often/usually useless anyway, since the production stops due to limited storage capacity.

Other points wich are misunderstood often are:

  • That troops have no stamina (attribute) and the Malachite is usefull in the fitting against assailants only (a little).
  • And the Nephrite is mostly just a waste of a slot, since almost everything else is spending more stamina (f.e. using other stones or doing other activities than just waiting for regeneration). But since there are 2 rudimentary reasonable stones against assailants only, Citrine for marching speed (I like that one) and the Malachite for increased stamina reserve (wich is also not verry valuable), so one slot remains free for any other stone. - Anyway, to go for regeneration as a strategy:
    • will not bring in the needed quantity of stones and materials for manufacturing enough gear,
    • will not allow you to get benefit from many other assailant drops (whatever)
    • and you will also not be able to push an event significantly. - ...Best is to collect Nephrites and convert them to Glittering Dust.

Hello

The graphics were updated.

Now the bonus values of the juwels in legendary qualitity are displayed and the names of assailants were corrected in all 6 languages.

Thank you to Plarium for the help with the translations.

Enjoy and have fun
