It's not a glitch it's a trick that could be used by experienced players.

Can you clarify "sending stuff to you"?
To the best of my knowledge, you can only send attacks or reinforcements to someone not in your league.
And even if you did receive resources, it shouldn't affect your raid cap.
If someone is raiding you for 100k, then you raided them for 50
