BUG! Able to hit a league member's siege

Hello,


We've had an issue with a player, he attacked a league member of mine. He got sieged by my league friend, I've sent an attack and I hit my league member's def. As far as I know my attack should have joined the siege upon the castle not hit it. I would like this hit to be checked by developers since it should have not been possible. I will provide coordinates and screenshots if requested.


What happend in steps:


1. Player 1 attacks my league member.


2. I send an attack to player 1.


3. My league member sieges player 1 before I hit.


4. I hit and kill my league member's deff in siege.


What should have happend: My attack should have joined the sieging forces.


What happend: I killed my league members's deff in siege.



I am playing Stormfall Age of War: The Dark plains

Hello! 

The reported case cannot be classified as a bug since this is a part of the regular gameplay.

a siege on a non member castle is not protected it has always been this way so you need to communicate and refreshing your game helps also so you could have seen your member was already there


being able to add defense to someone else's siege would be interesting but would make it very unfair to the person being sieged

I am not able to refresh every minute, just to see if someone has been sieged, this is pointless. And everything happened in a matter of seconds - I so I hit my league member's deff on the report. The castle was not sieged on the map. I would have cancelled my attack if I have seen the siege. That is why I consider this a bug. And as mentioned, I am not going to refresh every minutes just to check for sieges.


The game is not updating fast enough for me to see the siege. And if you think logically - in real life, in the past 2 armies with the same banner (league) would have never killed each other.


It is not fair for 2 players, from the same league to lose armies just because the refresh of the game is not on time. + when you are in battle, there is not time for refreshing. You all know that half of the game is precision hitting.

Not refreshing on time and causing the lost of armies because of lag or just bag mechanics is considered a bug. It is not a part of regular gameplay not to be able to see if enemy castle is sieged or not. It is a refresh ingame issue. The occurance may be lot but this is an example it happens. Since it is not possible in Hamlets and Beacons, why aren't the mechanics added for sieges too? As mentioned in previous post - there is no logic in 2 armies under the same banner to be able to kill each other.

it's always been this way - the game is slow to update on current actions - might be a bug but its been like this since I started playing - logic has nothing to do with Stormfall it never has :))


if it happened in a matter of seconds then you were both online at the time - that's what league chat is for to inform each other whats going on

Hello!

At the moment, no matter who sieged the Castle, you still can attack it. One of the main rules in any League is communication. So, you need to keep in touch with your League members via chat to avoid the situation like this one.

I understand such situations can also happen when the game is not updating in time. That's why devs are working on the new game engine that will significantly improve the game performance.

Ouch.  That's why it's important to communicate with other members if you're attacking the same target.  Btw 2 people can't siege the same target.   If they could you could make sieges that would be impossible to liberate.
