it seems to me, according to their idea, this was done simply for an additional bonus of your activity, a uniqueness bonus, an activity indicator. GG :)

It seems to be.  I can see how that would get annoying after a while.  Maybe next time plarium run the event they could give out a special castle skin for the winners instead.
