Hello My Lady Catsclaw , Please enlight us more , if you say that  : ''it looks as though Plarium takes a hands off approach.''  than you saw or know a case where you have the proof of that ( accusing without proof is not nice)...

You wanted a player response, here is mine : personally i never saw a case where a player used a bot !

I reported botting once (quite a long time ago). 

ALthough I didn't get any direct response from Plarium , the account was banned shortly afterwards. Whether that was because or my report, lots of reports from others or the account was already on watch I don't know. But it felt like my report got noticed and dealt with.

People have reported here the accounts that get made by the person that sells stuff to players and those have been banned in the past also.

So my gut feel is that they do pay attention.

I also reported a lot persons which sells units... services... resources...  and  plarium blocked them very fast , so i confirm that what DJ Moody said they do pay attention   !

I heard from somebody who got IP banned for botting, so yeah they do definitely monitor for it.
