Level 1-4: 100k force
Level 5-8: 200k
level 9-12: 300k
level 13-16: 400k
level 17-20: 500k
Using eldrich troops with max upgrades and a good champ the max power comes out to about 1bil power per 100k force, although most people won't have 100k+ worth of eldrich troops so I'd say closer to 700m power per 100k force limit for a more normal mix.
Okay, it isn't food consumption based like a beacon attack, I had thought they had lowered it some on the fortress when they finally set up the beacon limits. BirdyIt uses units base food consumption (ie a dragon is 4, necro is 3, but a darkened dragon is 3 and an eldrich dragon is 2, any other food consumption reductions you have on don't affect the force limit each unit takes up). This is the same way force limit works on beacons.
Hello Lord BIRDYJERRIE , if you can't remember which is the force limit , you don't have to do nothing else , just when you try to attack the fortress take a look in right down corner and see which is the Force Limit like in my screenshot, in that case is a fortress lvl 20 , the Force Limit is 500.000 ! Very easy , what you think ?!
