maybe you need to kill more 

Maybe you need to get rid of bot accounts.

In defensive battles there's a threshold you have to reach before you can score pvp points.  Very small battles will not score points.  The threshold is equivalent to about 400 points (16,000 base power ie 10 dragons) from what I recall.  

You do get other rewards for killing bot spies,  like Paragon Points, chests and occasional relics

I am getting 91 or more failed spy attack reports from bots every day  hahaha
