This happens every once in a while on nearly all online games, might as well get over it.  As long as they aren't down for long periods of time it's not a big deal, just try logging on again in 10-15 minutes.  

I don't mind the maintenance as long as nothing gets broken in the process, but the constant deleting of game chat at the same time is getting super annoying.
