in adition:
they have low value on resources
for example if you send a pathfinder it has 1300 as resource value meanwhile if you send a seeker this cost 250 amulets to be built. this means you have to spend 250 gold and 250 iron to built it. this means 500 as resource value.
the difference is significant.

The supernatural troops are good for defending Beacons. They are also good for sieges and raids. A dead troop caused by a regular troop or a supernatural troop is still a dead troop.

Also you can use them in the Saga Quests along with Wraiths. That way you can kill them faster.
But dont use Undead Dragons.. they are too good to be used in Saga quest best for beacons or Fortress or defending castle.

supernatural golems and griffins? sounds fun ....
do you mean the edlrich units? if so then yes but I would use regular ones before those since they are both stronger and consume less food than the troops you build with resources
amulet troops I would never send to bg's or sagas but I don't build the smaller amulet units anymore
any troop type will work in sagas just depends on how quickly you want to clear them - I used occult units to clear mine and grew my army - demons and warlocks good generic units to use to clear sagas or you could spend months building pikes and archers to clear one :)
