On the Facebook platform on the dark plains server I have the "one new letter" icon but when I open my letters there are no new messages. The exclamation mark does not clear the ghost message from my inbox. Refeshing and clearing my cache does not solve the problem. 

When I reported this to the Facebook community page (which is apparently useless now) several other players reported having the same issue.
