every thing else works fine so not that i also uninstalled the app and re-downloaded it and it still happens i even tried a system restore and that did not work all i know is is was working fine for me before the new version came on line yesterday and now it don't.

i have a games computer tower type, I use chrome but I also have firefox, micosoft edge, my computer is service every year I have never had any problems with your updates until the last one when I updated I lost plarium play I have tried many times on chrome + firefox + edge but it just comes up saying set up failed I am not computer literate but i have tried every thing i know i can still play all my games excerpt rise of balur using chrome but it so slow.
if you need any further info please state it so I can understand what your asking for

They'll probably need to know what operating system version you're on and your system specs. If you're on windows, type pc into the search bar (press windows key to open the search bar) then right click on "this pc" and select properties. You should get a screen like this:

Please delete all Plarium Play files and then download a new installer from the plarium.com website.

ok i deleted evrything i could find that had plarium on it and that did not do it the one game i can't get without plarium play is rise of balur and i have spent alot of money on it and would like to get it back, and before you say download it on my phone, when i was forced into retirement through disabilities i got ride of the phone. over the past 4 years i have spent several thousand pounds on the 3 servers on age of war, nords and most recently rise of balur. everything was fine until that last plarium play update

It could be your Computer doesn't have enough available space to complete the download. I noted you installed Win 10 last year . Was that an update for your computer or was it the original operating system for that computer ? try putting a thumb drive 10 GB or higher into port and see if it increases your storage enough for the download.
Another thing is often times system restore will keep saving every restore point you may want to remove all except the last restore point to free up space.
