I purchased a few things to start up the stoneheart castle and seem to have lost a lot of sapphires, I had over 15000 sapphires today. I did not use so many, less than 1000 as you can see by the buildings purchased. here is screenshot showing the few buildings and only a few sapphires left.

There are no bugs related to Sapphires' disappearance. This is the in-game currency which can be spent on in-game purchases. Please follow this article to learn where the Sapphires can be spent.If you consider the Sapphires have been lost due to a bug, please provide us with the steps to reproduce the issue. The problem is that it 2000 sapphs rather than 800 - 2000 sapphs for a scroll with a 60% discount is equal to 800 sapphs. Is there anyway to recover the sapphs it took rather than honor to the discount?

There is no way to reproduce this issue without time travel...lol...If you could email me your server stats showing the transactions in the last 48 hours perhaps a logical conclusion could be made.I know I did not buy anything more expensive than about 150 sapphires and look at the buildings on my castle clearly they do not add up to 15000 sapphires. and two of them I let finish on their own time frame...something does not add up.
I have checked your logs and found that you upgraded two of your regular Craftsmen to Master Craftsmen. The first one is upgraded for free, the second one cost you 15 000 Sapphires. All purchases are made only after your command. Thus the Sapphires were spent within the regular gameplay.
Since the situation has not been classified as a bug, the topic will be closed.
