If you have coasters in your league, then you should manage them out. The Brawl is fine as it is. A point limit per prize level would mess with players who can't login at the beginning of the Brawl before those early levels are achieved. 

I don't think required points are needed - the Marshall & League decide what the minimum requirements are 

for a single player 40k points is easy to make just doing the daily grind

if you have a lot of coasters they are probably alts so you need to either get rid of them or find out who they belong to and if alts belong to your league members enforce some type of play requirement for alts

Well , you think aren't  needed, but in that way who isn't active can't claim the rewards without doing nothing, and  honestly, making 2 k points is not hard at all...very easy earn

 2 k points brawl in 2 days , also for the low castles is not a difficult !

You missed my point - the original poster was asking for minimum points per tier - this is not needed - what if i make 100k points the first day and cannot log on the rest of the brawl that means i miss on all other tiers but made ample points to earn the rewards
