The "greatest challenge of this summer" tagline was standard Plarium hype, but August Offensive usually delivered decent rewards for active participants. The server name + coordinates comment requirement for the Drachmas giveaway was clever it forced players to engage publicly and created a mini-recruitment opportunity for alliances. Smart marketing disguised as a contest.
