MARTORU, please check the poll on the modified Positions mechanics here. Majority of players voted for removing the 30% Position retreat feature from the game, and it was removed.

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM ON POSTIONS WAS NOT 30% BUT PAYOUT, I YOU CKECK THAT POLL YOU WILL SE THAT PLAYERS COMPLAINED MORE ON PAYOUT

Actually, it didn't become more dangerous.

From what could be seen from Persian survivors, the 30% that were returned in case you didn't win just weren't used to fight at all, so it was at least necessary to remove this. Now you do lose all you send (at least as much as Persians losses, as usual), but at least they are all fighting and participating to weakening positions.

Thanks to Plarium to have taken the poll result in account.

Now I agree the full new system is problematic, but from what's been noted below, you can still use the old system as long as you don't finish positions, and if you do, just substract the partial payouts from your investment to know where you are.

At least, give it a try first. :)

This is an step forward, but the real problema still remains. One has to invest lots of troops to get small rewards mostly of the same kinf of troops that he already can build (and probably sent to the battle),

Most players played persian position to get cavs and promachos, that can't be built by oneself until you reach extremely high levels. PP was the only way to get a decent army under level 70. What is now the point to attack positions only to lose troops in the promise of a final reward that will arrive so late that you'll probably have lost al your army in the  way?

NOW IF YOU KIND PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT MEANS THE BATTLE HAS BECOME MORE DANGEROUS!

MARTORU, hitting positions has been always dangerous, hasn't it?

I would like to assure you that there were no changes in Positions mechanics except for payout distribution.

MARCOS and MARTORU, you can earn GPs in PvP Warfare and Pantheon Takeover Tournaments.

This was made mostly to balance GPs obtainment. 

There no GP earn during persian event.

GP only appear during Pvp warfare, and it gonna be challenging for those who didnt have GP to max out the GP article...good luck on the miserable side, The force is dying
