Yet another noob question, lol.
I get besieged by another archon, and have put all my troops in my acropolis. How do I attack the besieger to break the siege? And do I want to use attacking or defensive troops?
Never mind, I found the answer here, I think (I've never seen a 'liberate' button, but maybe I haven't been looking in the right places, lol.)

Always use offensive troops if your city is besieged. Or if you want to liberate someone else who is besieged. Cause if you use defensive ones, they will act as if they were offensive ones and as you can see in their stats their offensive power is really low!Yet another noob question, lol.

first spy your siege if you can,to see with what troops he sieged you with,if you can brake siege only with off troops,junk troops,lights,heavy's(never with def),if you cant brake it,ask help from your friends
