Can someone indicate how the unit bonuses are determined for the various unit types when equipped by the General?
Each item equipped (based on class and rarity) has a specified bonus for various unit types. This of course varies with the item.
Light Infantry, lt and hvy Infantry, etc.
Can it be indicated how the total percentage is determined? Does not appear additive.

There are 8 slots for equipping general items.
3 for defensive items, 3 for offensive items, and 2 for both.
There are IV classes of items (both offensive and defensive). and 4 types (common, uncommon , rare and legendary) each better than the previous one.
Classes:
Class I : increases offensive/defensive power of light infantry only
Class II: light and heavy
Class III : light, heavy and phalanx
Class IV : light , heavy, phalanx and cavalry
And Yes they are cumulative.
suppose you have 3 items(for simplicity say they are all offensive item)
#1 item (class I) has light infantry bonus A
#2 item (Class II) has light infantry bonus B and heavy infantry bonus C.
#3 item (Class III) has light infantry bonus D and heavy infantry bonus E and phalanx bonus F
then if you equip all 3 items you get Lght infantry bonus (A+B+D) heavy infantry bonus (C+E) and phalanx bonus F in total
I have never seen any other legendary boxes other than li and I haven't seen any keys for weeksI'd have to agree; at least subjectively I have the strong impression that these items have become very rare commodities, especially coffers.
