You are probably talking about the grand 14 day pvp tourney that plarium called a "celebration". In that tourney only the top 250 people I believe got any prizes and everyone else got the shaft to celebrate..The only thing plarium was celebrating was increasing there cash flow.

I would like to give you more details about our Anniversary Tournaments. From the start you were notified that there's no personal reward in those Tournaments. One can receive a reward only for placing in TOP 250. So only 250 players were supposed to get a reward, and you could see this information in each Tournament description and in our News.

Now let's look deeper into this issue.

While you had Grand Anniversary Tournaments, you also had small usual Tournaments which were launched each day according to our schedule. You could participate in them and receive rewards in each one of them.

I'm pretty sure that you've earned most of your points during those regular Tournaments and received your rewards for them.

In PvP fights, you received Experience points, and you had fun with other players. PvP is a vital part of this game, and all players are involved into it.

In PvE fights, you received Experience points for your lost Units, payouts (or accumulated points), Items, etc.

So you did actually receive a reward for your actions. Meanwhile you received points in Grand Tournaments. They were not the only thing you got from PvE and PvP actions which you were involved in.

Moreover, during the celebration we have offered you free gifts in the game, and multiple giveaways in communities. I hope you had a lot of fun during the past two weeks, and you'll enjoy our further celebrations as well.

i think it wouldnt have been hard to add some minimum rewards with such a tournament. Some troop , a few champ units.

I maybe even more up set that i lost 300 coins by clicking build on a fortification and clicking save before placing it and now i have lost the coins and the foritifcaion. :/

Archon,  If you have finished at 50th rank on the Grand pvp tour and you got no rewards,

please submit your bug-report to http://support.plarium.com/ensparta/Tickets/Submit/ so that Plarium team could investigate these issues and better assist you in resolving them.

I thought that was the ironic part. Even the top rewards probably only compensated a small percentage of what they spent to get there. 

I want Plarium to make money. I buy drachmas sometimes. I've paid money to play this game that would have bought me 10 years worth playtime in a subscription based game and it boggles my mind to even think about it that way. Really, I've probably spent $500 in the year I've played which would have bought a new MMORPG and paid the subscription for years. 

They gave some virtual currency back to the people that spent the most. They could have offered drachma packages for thousands of dollars with bonus drachmas and achieved the same exact thing and in the same way the greatest majority of players would be alienated. They gave us like a few hundred drachmas worth of free stuff. That's the only interaction 99% of the players had in this celebration. I'm not really complaining because I can ignore it like most people do but trying to paint it up like it's some kind of player appreciation thing is poorly thought out and a tad bit insulting to be honest.

Its actually even worse because for the whole month of june, we aint gonna get any coal events and thats most helpfull for small players.
