Why does offence elixirs get shown and used in the SS's below but def is missing?

So where is the 14% for the above Phalanx elixir bonus? same goes for Cav/HI.
There's nothing wrong. The only def elixir you're using 'resistance' is for light infantry.
The 4 unit stats displayed, doesn't give that direct power to those units. What it does is increases your light inf def stats likewise against those units.
