Have you tried with another browser ? I've found Chrome works the best with Adobe Flash.

Chrome is where it happened - I will try others but prefer Chrome

I had even previously tried via FB a few times, but it kept starting a brand new account and in some other universe - how can you use FB to access your PC account - guess you can't.

clearing browser cache, uninstalling flash player and reinstalling, check maybe some extensions u have disable them all and try.

yes IE v5 or 6 was what MS got so much hate for their browsers

but new IE or edge is fine for gaming.

I've had the same problem, and it is intermittent.  One day I can type in chat and send messages, the next day I may be in the middle of typing and suddenly there is no more typing.  One time, while attempting to send a message, I could not use the space key without it blanking what I'd already typed.  I've wondered why all those boxes come up telling me to clear cache and reload when the app crashed.  I installed FireFox and started using it with same results.  Not gonna try a third browser.
