Archon, unfortunately, Xerxes doesn't share secrets with us which can help use to know how his troops can be defeated. So each Archon should think about his own strategy.

I hope that you will use them wisely. 

Chosing to chip them down to one bar the old way or not is up to you, depending on the strategy you chose to apply. It's not necessarily the best with the current system, but you can experiment anyway.

The important point is winning at Persians implies to play lots of positions until you get a full payout.

Only then you can sum up all your losses and all your gains cumulated during the full multiple positions cycle and check how much you've actually earned in the end.

You can definitely not judge anything from individual positions anyway.

Same topic, different question : I recently upgraded my Persian positions from level 30 to 44 and I didn't get any new missions for lvls 35 and 40... Is there anything I can do about that ? :(

Is this issue still actual, Archon? 

Actually, the next missions will appear as soon as you finish any level 44 position. You're only 1 level away. :)

They are there as soon as the new levels finishing with "0" or "5" are available, but not defeated yet.

Or as soon as any higher level position finishing with "9" or "4" is defeated (another way to say the same thing). ^^

It should unlock (or have unlocked) the missions level 6.

Still got the problem :

No previous mission to finish and no mission available, though I'm way over the required level in positions...

The only reason I could see is if I need to beat a position lvl35 exactly in order to unlock the new missions. I've no lvl35 currently but I did a lvl36 yesterday, do I need to beat a lvl35 exactly ?
