I will not upgrade !!!

I do not have sketches

Need many sketches, which cost a lot of drachmas

And the tournaments have very poor rewards

The tournaments have no sketches and very few drachmas

So is it 2% bonus for each forge, farm, mill we upgrade or if we upgrade one to level 24 that 2% bonus is all we get?  Kind of confusing to say the least.

Yay! luckily I am a heavy coiner and can afford all the needed sketches.

Well done Plarium. I can be even stronger than occasional coiners or free players now.

Guys, please don't forget that you can earn both: Drachmas and Sketches in the game 

sketches you get like ones every 800000 tournaments haha but anyways today give me 75% revive and 30% sketches discount and i will like plarium a whole lot more ... haha

Sketches can be earned at the development race tournament! Not all development tournaments give sketches though! So be on alert for these kind of tournaments and check if they give sketches! Then develop your city to get sketches as rewards!

Not sure I understand your question here! You are talking about farms, forges and lumber upgrades which increase your resource production and then you are talking about 1 mil in each resource. I suppose you are referring to the granaries and the warehouses.

Warehouse:

Level 25 – Max Warehouse capacity now 500,000!

Granary:

Level 25 – Max Granary capacity now 500,000!

Those 500,000 of resources are for each building. So 3 granaries and 3 warehouses make it a total f 1,5M of each resource if you upgrade all your warehouses and granaries to level 25! So yes that way you will be able to have over 1mil in each resource!

i can onlysuggest all to think about upgrading them caregully if you want to play persians and fill up your warehouses before think about the troubel tou will have to fill em up ...
