Weekly rankings reset at 07:00 UTC on Mondays. If you cancel a siege or it is broken by other players, 100 siege points are deducted from your ranking. Thus your current siege ranking turns negative and in order to make it positive again, you need to besiege new Cities.

Cierto Agent Pavel alguien tendría que estudiarlo, si retiras el lunes todos los asedios te encuentras con tantos puntos negativos como asedios tenías así imposible quedar 2 semanas seguidas el primero

On Monday at 7:00 AM UTC all the counters are reset.
If you remove all sieges, imagine 4,000, you get negative with less 400,000 points.
I got 2 weeks to be in the top 10 not retiring any siege and doing others almost 5,000 the second week.
Look at the top TOTAL are those that do not withdraw and continue to do.
