For many cycles, the coalition chests I receive, even the highest level, give me nothing but 30-pieces 1-hour to break General gears. Unless I waste my boosts, those miserable things expire before I even have a chance to break them.  4 higher level gears were received earlier, and not  with coalition chests . I got so many of those small thnigs (much more than 20 at once) that they didn't fit the empty slots on the top and bottom. See the screenshot below.
