Hello Robert: Under the event we are running now, the chances of summoning an orange guardian increases x2, is not a guarantee orange guardian each purple, as you are suggesting. 

In past, I´ve got as you, 1 orange for 7 purples. Las event I got 6/7 and this one, 2/7. 

It´s just luck! I hope you find your Defensor too :) . You are looking for enlighting it? We had one guaranteed city defender when Plarium made the poll about our favorite guardians last year :)
