I've recently been getting more into Sparta: War of Empires and realized how easy it is to waste resources early on.

Looking back, what's the one mistake you made as a beginner that you'd tell every new player to avoid?

Was it upgrading the wrong buildings, spending resources too quickly, choosing the wrong troops, or something else?

I'd love to hear your tips and experiences—I'm sure they'll help other new players  too.
