Hello Archon, You can ask your Teammates to add you as a friend, or to give you their Plarium Play ID .  Or, Click on the Friends option, add their nickname to the right spot, and click on the magnifying glass.

Why can't I add friends via the green "Add to Friends" icon on the map, under the Friends Castle?

Is this broken, or is there a limit to the number of friends I can add?

Hello. Yes, there is a limit that someone can add as friends, but I don't know if anyone has reached it, as it is pretty high. As far as I remember, this option didn't work well, so we added our friends from their nickname or their  Plarium Play user ID.
