Hello Archon. Some players have charts and they work like this, but they might not be updated. Others like me, use the one-bar method and when we are sure that our Xerxes bank is full,  we start to break the one-bar regular positions one by one. There is no magic number, and I don't know if it is worth the effort, as the point is to fill the bank and not just kill the Persian forces. It is why I don't use my positions' guardians as well, but only when I have a go for a big payout  to empty my bank. The only chart I have is for the team positions and I made it with much effort, so I will have much more gains. I'm getting decent regular positions payouts, so I might do something right🙂

-the level of Xerxes 

-the payout itself.

If I told what you level of Xerxes I have-you would laugh your butt off.

Dear Archon, my payout is good, but not the best as another archon got 177k mounted petalst, or another player got  almost 32k agema cavalry 🙂 You invest, you collect, and there are no magic recipes. Of course, every player has his/her own strategy. Let's say I don't play position every week, but when there is a Royal conflict. There are so many ways of playing that it isn't possible to mention them, and not wise to do so 😉 If you are lucky enough or really interested in learning, you will find your Persian Position mentor unless you will find your own way.

I do not have a mentor-so any insight you have would be very gratefully appreciated. Right now, I have several"one barred" positions and have stopped after reading your post. Just would like know if I am on the correct track. Please send private message if unable to do so here.
