Doubling Up on Off and Def Boosts

I have asked this question to several different people I talk to regularly, but have gotten conflicting answers. Here's what I'm wondering: If I use a Phylarch Off/Def boost (25%) and also a special item boost (either 10 or 20%) do I get BOTH of them concurently? For instances if I did %25 & %10, would I then have a total %35 increase, or is it just the higher of the two.

Also, say you activate a %20 Def boost, do your offensive soldiers also benifit from that, or just the defense troops?

The offensive/boosts are additive.  If you look at a unit stats you will see that both items are active but all bonuses apply to the base statistics of the unit.  A unit with 100 base offense will receive 25% of 100 from Phyllarch = 25 and 10% from activated booster = 10 total 135 If you also get 10% from Dominion Status and 10% from Capital and 5% from general intellect that is another 25% of 100 so 135 + 25 = 160.

See what I meant about conflicting answers? Given that Mikaloslos is detailed but still. I am gonna test it out myself in a few hours when i'm done spying & ready to start attacking. Thank You

Here is a screenshot of the unit bonus data for one of my units when both the 25% phyllarch offensive bonus and a 20% regular offensive bonus are enabled.

https://gyazo.com/8c692edb4313ccff563d79f2b8495b1f

You can see the Phyllarch bonus listed 25% x 42 (regular offense) = + 10.5

You can also see the 20% regular offense enhancement under "items" 20% x 42 = + 8.4

So the unit has enhanced offense from both items.
