There appears to be a bug in the point tally calculation for the coalition mission (engage positions).  Although the title suggests the same scoring method as other Persian Position events it does not work the same. It appears to omit all points scored for non-completed positions. This is a huge handicap for players that play PPs properly. While I scored 900 points on the current PP tournament only 51 points were allocated to the coalition mission because most of my points were scored by "one-barring" positions and not clearing them.

Even if you clear one-barred positions for the mission you get very few points because almost all the points are scored bringing the positions down to one bar.  The only way to maximize points in the mission is to attack and clear positions in one go.  A bad strategy for serious PP players.

This should be corrected - or at least clarified in the coalition mission description.

How is it scored?  Points based on positions cleared or points based on units lost while attacking positions?  Either way it does not score properly...

When you attack or defend a position you get points that add to the active Tournament even if you don’t clear a position.

If you finish the position while there is a Coalition mission active you get points for clearing that position which added to the active mission. If you don’t clear the position you get zero point for the Coalition mission.

Conclusion : You get Points for Tournaments when lose units at Positions and you get points for Coalition Missions when you clear positions.
