Hello Archon. I notice the same thing when my PC doing windows updating, but I don't know why. I always install the Plarium Play again, and after, I delete the old Plarium Play file. If you still have this problem, please try the Plarium Play Launcher, or keep it, just to help your teammates if they will face the same problem. You can try to fix by this steps: 

Check your computer's graphics card drivers and make sure they are up to date. 

Try running the game in compatibility mode or as an administrator.

Disable any unnecessary programs or applications running in the background that could be interfering with the game.
