Athena's Honor Guard celebrated it's two year inception this past August 3rd. There are still players in the coalition besides Maeve that have been here since day 1 and I would say 75% of us have been together for 1 year+. We have seen many ebbs and flows in Hellas and have actually ranked number 1 long before some of you probably even played the game.  We have seen many great warriors rise and fall and that goes the same for coalitions as well. We have made many enemies and friends and we even have great respect for past enemies who play with integrity and honor.

With that said, we have decided to move forward as ATHENA and have dropped "honor guard".  The dynamics of the game have changed drastically over such a short period of time and many players in all of Sparta are starting to think collectively in a manner of limited to no diplomacy anymore.  We will be dropping all of our Diplomacy and may select a few coalition to add as Ally's.  As I said to the senior officers, "name one coalition that helped us when we dropped our pans to war with HOB's", they will be our Ally's. I am sure the same can be said for us as already willfully pointed out by some of our admirer's.

We are content with having fewer players than the maximum allowed and don't care for filling the coalition up with "fluff" but if anyone is interested, we will require a minimum of level 75 and 3 million defense/offense.

Our motto is to have fun and spend more time farming, building and actually playing vs. dealing with dozens of messages about broken diplomacy and the politics of what is happening in Hellas. 

We are always looking for some great people to join us with tremendous respect for each other and a team attitude vs. a superiority complex.
