Great! Hopefully this will put an end to the combines filled with bots. Giving the affected players a 2 weeks notice does have a side effect though. As they (in case possibility of VPN use is somehow eliminated) will not be able to play at all anymore it could be expected that the affected players will do a "hail Mary, lets go out with a bang" attempt just to burn their own units. So to those not affected; bunker up and defend MC's and HQ's well....

Because of the shared language and regional proximity, a Russian bot operator doesn't need to spoof their location to a random server in Germany or the US—they just need to route their traffic right next door into Ukraine. To the game's servers, the traffic looks entirely legitimate and local.

вот вы все скулите про ботофермы, что блокировка игроков из России и Беларуси вас всех от этой проблемы избавит))) а вот интересно, зарубив аккаунты реальных игроков, чем думаете они возместят (наполнят) игру?

Все, кто активно играет на протяжении уже 15ти лет в эти игры на разных платформах, прекрасно знает что ботофермы функционируют в огромном количестве и к России они не имеют ни малейшего отношения, так что проги останутся, игроки уйдут и будут боты сражаться с остатками нацистов))
