The introduction of "gift codes" into the game could allow us to develop a new tournament based on this aspect of the game.

I'm not entirely sure how this event could be developed, but I imagine it would be fantastic if it were a "Combine Event" where every member of the Combine would contribute to solving the puzzle.

For example: by performing daily game activities (raids, occupations, ZHG, repos, depots, contracts, base development, etc.), players could receive "pieces of code" in their reports.

example:
1) NE...                                                             ("player1" receives this piece...)
2) ...XT...                                                           (another "player2" receives this piece...)
3) ...ST...                                                            (and so on).
4) ...EP...
5) ...#1

By consulting with each other in chat, players could then reconstruct the complete code and enter it in

>"settings"
> "code"
> "NEXTSTEP#1"

... to receive a share of the rewards and a further clue on how to proceed in the treasure hunt.
Players continue to progress in this way to compose more codes and obtain more clues and rewards that will lead them to the end of the path.
